For advice on ways that really help you make money online, see my free report here.
People often ask me for advice on how to make money online.
This is a common question and there are many “experts” who give advice on how to make money online too.
Like many things involving this niche on the internet, there are many traps and pitfalls to be mindful of. The first thing to note when you are taking advice from people online is to find out who they are and what they promote. For example if you want to learn how to make money online using blogs, the best way to find out how to do it is to find a person who actually does it well and has a track record for it. This can be done with some reasearch on google, but please be cautious as you do need to sift through information that could be completely biased (due to affiliates promoting the “expert’s” products) or very opinionated views.
Some material could well be self promotion material such as the expert’s own site or blog. You really need to use your instincts to gauge what you read about.
Advice given from PPC (pay per click) ads on google tend to be promotional material designed to make money from you, so I would be very wary of getting “advice” from such sources. One of the better ways is to go to forums on your topic which have a lot of input from various sources. This tends to weed out the phoney self promoting marketers though you still need to be careful of what you listen to.
On a personal level, I can tell you that during the past few years, I fell for many traps and got conned quite a few times listening to so called advice online. It took a step learning curve for me to get to where I am now and finally figure it all out. I guess it was some trial and error - something I do not recommend if you can help it.
There is a much easier way. You can learn all about it by reading my report here. It tells you what I went through and what I eventually discovered……Well worth a read.

How do you make money online? Know who to trust. Avoid the scams. Read the free report here.
Whenever you want to research ways to make money online, you can be sure that you will be bombarded with various “experts” who will tell you how it’s done. In fact, there are even more gurus or experts who are very happy to sell you their latest e-book or course.
I don’t know about you, but I have fallen fowl of these courses and e-books many times over. I have spent thousands of dollars on them and know that many of them are just recycled material, or loose “methods” that don’t really live up to the sales pitch. In this particular post, I’m not going to delve into the reasons and problems with these courses but a more fundamental question which is: Who can you trust in the world of make money online.
More specifically, can you trust the gurus who are in it to sell to you? They give you advice and advise you to buy a product from them that is supposed to solve your problem. So can you really trust what they are advising you?
This is one those areas that require you to make a judgement call.
I learn’t the hard way listening to lots of different marketers, buying their products, wasting alot of time and money. I did finally find out the ones to trust and ones that were worth listening to, but this was doing it the long way round. Three years long in fact.
All marketers want you to trust them in order that you will spend money on what they offer. However convincing they may sound, these are some tips on how you can judge whether they are trustworthy or not. This is not an exhaustive list, but can give you a head start.
1) Are you reading their site on their PPC link? i.e. the paid listing on the top and side bar of google pages? If so, this person is paying to be listed. What are the chances they are wanting you to buy something from them? In which case how does it affect their bias?
2) Does what they say seem too good to be true? Does it seem a bit too hypey? If so, trust your inner voice. There’s no such thing as a free lunch.
3) Can you understand the concepts and ideas they are explaing or selling? If you can’t and it seems to be a bit mysterious, why is that? If you don’t get it, can you trust it?
You have to be sharp and keep your wits as there are alot of scammers out there. Keep safe, know the real ways to make money online. Know who to trust. Read the free report here.

2008 has been an eventful year with lots of changes particularly in terms of our finances. No one can escape the effects of the credit crunch even online. It is more crucial than ever that you have an effective strategy in place for 2009 when it comes to making money online.
People are getting smarter. The old rules to making lots of money on line have changed. In 2009, you need to evolve with the new rules to earn real money.
Within the new rules also lie the simplicity of solid fundamental values that will allow you to be successful. This is what I want to talk about on this particular post.
If you want to be successful online and make money, the number one rule you need to stick to is this: CLEAR GOAL.
Yes. Clear Goal.
Ok, ok, you’re probably thinking to yourself yeah, yeah, heard it all before, cliche etc etc, but hear me out here. If there is anything that I have learnt over the years in business is that the top 10% of people who are making $thousands a month compared to those who make a few dollars here and there, or even nothing is this simple differentiation. Those who make the big money online very simply set CLEAR GOALS.
What is a “Clear Goal”?
To have a clear goal doesn’t mean you need to have a complete blueprint and schedule written down for the whole year. It doesn’t mean you need to have every little detail set out and prepared. It simply means you need to know exactly the result you want to achieve. How you get there is the secondary question.
So for some people, if you are starting out in the world of online business and want to make money online, then you may want to set a goal such as “make an extra $200 per month online by the March 30th”
For some more experienced people, the goal could be to “Build up a list and create a revenue of $20,000 by May”
Whatever the goal is, make it clear and make it something you know is realistic enough to achieve.
Go ahead and do it! Don’t delay. Trust me on this one.
This is a very simple message to you but a very important one. Best of luck for the coming year.
Once you have decided on your goal, then you can think of the next step. HOW can you achieve the goal and make money online. How to avoid the scams.
Read about that on the report here
Good Luck and happy new year!
